Harry Reid: Hillary Clinton Email Controversy Is A 'Hiccup'

WASHINGTON — Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) called the controversy over Hillary Clinton's use of a private email account as secretary of state a "hiccup."

"As Senator [Chuck] Schumer has stated, it's a hiccup," he told reporters on Tuesday. "She will respond when she responds. And we'll wait for her response."

Asked if he has any concerns himself, Reid said he didn't. "I have no concerns about what she did," he said.

His remarks came shortly before Clinton, the clear frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, was scheduled to address the issue following a speech at a United Nations conference on women.
