Ted Cruz to announce 2016 presidential bid on Monday

Source: CNN.com

&quot CNN)Ted Cruz is first out the gate.

The first-term senator from Texas will announce that he's running for the Republican presidential nomination, according to the Houston Chronicle. He will make his official declaration Monday in Lynchburg, Virginia at Liberty University, the largest Christian university in the world.

Cruz, 44, will be the first candidate to formally throw his hat in the ring for what's expected to be a crowded GOP primary, with more than a dozen high-profile Republicans expressing serious interest in a White House run.

The Chronicle reports that Cruz will go straight to announcing his candidacy without first forming an exploratory committee, according to advisers with direct knowledge of his plans."

Doubt it.

No wonder President Obama is ignoring the whining, silly MSM, useless and clueless and as corrupt as the GOP.

Because the moderates/independents, who are really the majority, arent going to vote for the GOP circus candidate and will easily vote for Hillary or whoever without them having to change their positions
Only when both candidates are similar in many ways would one have to slide closer to the other side. IMO of course

“We’ve lost the essential role of relationship-building and consensus-building,” Clinton told the crowd gathered in an Atlantic City, New Jersey convention center. “When I was in the Senate, I realized that I might be opposed to someone’s bill today, and working with that person tomorrow.”

“I did a lot of reaching across the aisle working with people who had a lot of political differences with me,” she said.

although in reality, it depended on what they meant by "bipartisanship". And now that they see more and more loons elected to office since then, I would hope they see who the problem is. And since liberals own no big media outlets, the message will never be delivered, no matter how loud it is shouted, and how furious the keyboard warriors type.

Trust me, I DO laugh at the idiocy of Ted Cruz. I mean, he has only to open his mouth for the stupid to be apparent and obvious.

But I'm from Texas and I've seen the nut cases who actually think this man is the answer to their prayers.

We, as Democrats, have got to take this seriously. We've got to vote and we've got to do everything in our powers to make sure that elections aren't stolen.

This, from a voter who has witnessed George W. Bush in the White House for two terms, Greg Abbott in the Texas governor's mansion, and Dan Kirkpatrick in the office for Lieutenant Governor.
