Labor groups fear `union Armageddon' in Nevada Legislature

Source: KLAS-AP

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) -- Despite union protests, a bevy of bills to weaken collective bargaining and restructure public employee pensions remain on the legislative agenda, including one scheduled for a hearing Wednesday that labor groups call the "Union Armageddon Bill."

With Republicans newly in control of both chambers of the Legislature and the governor's mansion, Democrats lack leverage to stop the proposals.

The "Armageddon" measure, among other things, would prevent collective bargaining agreements from stopping layoffs during a budget crisis and eliminates seniority from being considered in layoffs.

ALEC and other PR firms for the megalomaniac megacorporates are stomping across the land. Obviously this will end, but I'm not sure how. Money has bought all the legal and judicial avenues of redress.

Perhaps they'll be happy when there are no more 99percenters able to survive. I'm not sure what their end game is.

2. Campaign Finance REFORM

The answer to this madness is campaign finance reform to remove the likes of ALEC, Koch's and there 900 million corruption campaign and other forms of money being injected into the political process and should be only public money.
When you have a millionaire on a stage that said since he paid one million in taxes (which I don't think so) says that he should get a million votes then Houston and America we have a problem and it not because the mother ship is damaged, its the laws that have been created to cause this damage and enforced by a U.S. Supreme Court to not help the middle class or the poor, not one, but they sure do have legislation to attack the worker under the disguise of Right to Work for Less and that organization which was started in Texas by a racists
