Yelp reviewers rip Indiana pizza shop that endorsed 'religious freedom' law

Source: Politico

On Tuesday, the proprietors of Walkerton’s Memories Pizza praised Gov. Mike Pence for protecting religious freedom and said they would chose not to serve their pies at any same-sex weddings.

“If a gay couple came in and wanted us to provide pizzas for their wedding, we would have to say no,” Crystal O’Connor, whose family owns Memories Pizza, told ABC57.

...snip...

As the story circulated online, Yelp reviewers immediately took to the restaurant ratings website to give the pizza shop some colorful reviews.
“They have a great pizza. It’s the intolerance special with toppings of hate, bigotry, stupidity, and old fashioned beliefs,” one review by “Jarrett J.” of Sydney, Australia said.

I think it's time for someone to force the issue: have someone get an order refused on religious grounds, take them to Court and either have the law overturned or prove it's the catalyst for discrimination that Pence denies it is.

Indiana has taken it a step further. Hopeful, they have walked off the edge of the plank and into the abyss.

The baker that refused to make a cake for a gay couple's wedding is out of business. I think little places are going to falter under this. And they employ more people overall, I would guess, than a big chain like pro-birth/anti-woman Domination Pizza. Tolerant businesses are likely to flourish. I just don't think we can apply Bigot Chicken philosophy to this. But it is all unfolding yet.

I did see a earlier version with about 46 pictures. Refreshed, down to 10 pictures, but no gay porn as far as I can see.
