Seven police officers injured in violent clash near Mondawmin Mall

Source: The Baltimore Sun

Seven police officers were injured Monday afternoon in a violent clash with demonstrators near Mondawmin Mall. One was unresponsive and others suffered broken bones, police spokesman Eric Kowalczyk said.

Smoke filled the air as police responded with shields and a tactical vehicle. Demonstrators pelted officers with rocks, bricks and bottles, and assaulted a photojournalist.

"The group continues to be violent and aggressive. They are disobeying dispersal orders. We are working to evacuate our injured officers," police said on Twitter.

Once again, the instigators of this riot----the law-and-order political clowns----are safely tucked away behind their computer monitors hunting and pecking to spell the word "thug".

Why aren't they on the front line facing real people who are damaged by police brutality to protect the ideological purity?

But I struggle with this. Would Martin Luther King Jr, Kennedy or any of the great minds condone these things? I find it really hard to get behind, but understand.

It hurts to see the way we treat each other. That I will never understand

I am hoping the Populist Movement will make gains enough to head it off. The Plutocratic Oligarchs that run this country would love a revolution.

by pro-order/pro-authority citizens. Racism is unabashedly rearing its ugly head. They are calling for shooting of all insurrectionists and even shooting of people who run from police. It's seriously getting crazy from where I'm sitting.

Really. FB and these immediate reply systems act as positive feedback systems (positive, not as in "good", but as in "escalating&quot . It could spread like wildfire, given the right conditions. And lots of people are really on the edge.

of that community have suffered. And I certainly don't want to come off as judgmental or preachy. But I just wish that anyone who is considering looting and/or rioting would realize that they are playing right into the hands of the cops. The cops will just use this as an excuse to commit even more violence against the community. Please people stay peaceful.
