NYPD officer 'fighting for his life'; suspect denied bail

Source: AP

By MICHAEL BALSAMO

NEW YORK (AP) — A man who officials say boasted of being a street "hellraiser" and who served prison time for attempted murder was arraigned on charges that he shot a New York City police officer in the head.

Officer Brian Moore "is fighting for his life," Queens District Attorney Richard Brown told The Associated Press after spending many hours with the comatose 25-year-old officer.

Moore remained hospitalized in critical but stable condition after hours of surgery for what court papers described as "severe injuries to his skull and brain."

His family members "stand in silence with tears in their eyes, not knowing what the outcome for Brian will be," said Patrick Lynch, president of the Patrolmen's Benevolent Association.

In addition to "black lives matter", how about "people's lives matter"?

... you'd delete that post.

But then again, if you had an ounce of integrity, you wouldn't have posted it in the first place.

just to stir shit up and discredit the resistance.

The FBI used to pull stuff like this all the time back in J. Edgar's day.

But I find the sympathy of Mr Lynch for Moore's family a bit hypocritical since he is the man who ridiculed Eric Garner after he was killed by some of Lynch's buddies.

Oh. . .right, the victim.

I heard that on the radio. Did they identify themselves as law enforcement? Or did they just jaw off at a passing street thug who may have thought they were challenging him? Just asking. Because if the perp thought they were regulars in the hood, he can use a Stand your ground argument but be sentenced on illegal weapon charges.
