Radio Personality Tells Father To Get A Man To Rape His Daughter Until She Turns Straight

Source: Addicting Info

A radio personality in Cleveland is facing tremendous backlash after telling a father that he should get one of his male friends to rape his daughter to force her to turn straight.

In response to an email from a father who suspected his daughter was gay after discovering her kissing another girl, DJ Dominic Deiter declared on the air that “You should get one of your friends to screw your daughter straight.”

You read that correctly. An apparently anti-gay radio personality told a father that he should arrange for his daughter to be raped repeatedly until she magically turns straight.

After the disgusting remark, GLAAD received multiple reports about the incident, which was said during ‘Rover’s Morning Glory’ radio program that airs on WWMS 100.7 FM radio station on Clear Channel Communications, which includes radio shows hosted by Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and several other right-wing radio shows. Clear Channel is also owned primarily by Bain Capital, the company that Mitt Romney began and is still involved with.

I see no benefit for or to anyone in a call to what I believe to be vigilante justice therefore I question the wisdom of the posting in this sub thread.

I also question if there was any father that sent in such an email to create this "event" or was it simply something written by the DJ (or his staff) that has generated some rather unintended results. He is in the entertainment business to a specific audience, do not for one minute believe that some of that "entertainment" is not perhaps fictitious.

In the dream-world where there is a radio host who says things that I agree with, I wouldn't want them to get fired because the majority of Americans would find the speech abhorrent (and they would).

If you think he committed a crime, go for his prosecution.

If you think this shouldn't be allowed on US airwaves, go to the FCC.

The Anonymous quote rings true:

The ones you are noticing are more terrified than anything else. They are lashing out because they are comfortable; and to acknowledge what is happening is a threat to that comfort.

It's not a call to give in. Did you expect everyone on the thread to go along with something more like:

'Oh, woe is us, look how big and terrible they are?'

The fact is, the TPB should not be called The Powers That Be. They are The Powers That Were.

They are in their death throes, and it's going to get a lot more messy as their Empire collapses. But as all Empires do, they will. Or do you not believe that?

TPW want you to feel hopeless, which is what you seem to be saying. There is more than one way to stand up to a bully, you don't have to be violent.

There's more than one way to 'skin a cat.' Sorry, but I'm not hiding with the Woe Is Me crowd.

Standing up requires the encouragement to believe your cause is just and that you are going to win. I see nothing in that quote from Anonymous and expressed by Occupy that says to give up.

Except for the anomaly of 2008, they have been gaining ground consistently for 20 years, despite becoming more and more radical. The only thing that makes me feel hopeless is people like you, who believe that just sitting around while the Repukes destroy the country is the right thing to do, since "goodness" is on our side and will eventually prevail by some divine providence. If that's not good enough for you, just put me on Ignore. Your insults are meaningless while you sit around and play the victim of an encourging word from those who actually believe that they can do something, Occupy. n/t

(sorry, meant to post in response to OP)

In late 2010 there were a lot of articles discussing "corrective rape."

"Rehyansky advocates what is known as “corrective rape”. This “method” of “dealing” with lesbians, has been prominent in South Africa. The phrase was first penned by human rights non-governmental organisations and gained widespread noteriety with the story of Eudy Simelane, a member of the South African women’s soccer team and an out Lesbian and advocate for GBLT rights. She was raped and murdered in 2008. ActionAid stated that this was ahate crime, and her murder was directly related to her sexual orientation."

into his mouth doesn't help anything. What he said was bad enough without resorting to changing his quote.

I realize the implication is there. If that's the point this writer wanted to make, it could have been made in a much more convincing way. Perhaps in the form of a question... for example:

In response to an email from a father who suspected his daughter was gay after discovering her kissing another girl, DJ Dominic Deiter declared on the air that “You should get one of your friends to screw your daughter straight.”

So, what exactly does that mean? If she is gay, she presumably she won't have any interest in having sex with her father's male friend... so does that mean he has to rape her straight? It's hard to imagine that this personality could have meant anything else.

Lesbians, by definition, do not have sex with men.

Getting a male friend to screw the man's daughter "straight" takes how many turns? Two? Three? Eight? Fifty? He would be forcing her against her will to do something she already refuses to do.

Rape is forceable sexual, penetrable intercourse against the will of the victim, male or female (at least I think it still means that--the anti-woman congress has been messing with definitions lately).

Therefore, he is advocating that the man get his boy to rape his child.

for their votes--and lie to them about being Christian and patriotic. They
are neither of those things. They are pure evil and they spread their hate on the
radio--from Hannity, Limbaugh and Levine to local hosts like this. They
are all very, very sick.

Every once in a while we get an authentic glimpse into just how vile they all are. Again,
they are all psychopaths. They do not have empathy toward people. What's the big
deal if a daughter is raped? So what. Have you ever seen the list of Republican politicians
who have been convicted of child molestation and rape? It's horrendously long. This
is no coincidence.

I think child rape and molestation is rampant with these fringe freaks. They crave power
and control and they lack morals, any sort of conscience and they lack the ability to
feel real human emotions.

This was a Freudian slip. I imagine they all discuss their crimes and are very proud of them--and
I'm sure many of them molest children. Probably each other's children.

in fact i loathe all those who can't look past sexual differences, but did he ever actually say "have your friends rape your daughter," in those exact words? If not, it reminds me of the stupid comments people make about how someone was so bad in bed, they turned their girlfriend or boyfriend gay. I've actually heard "fuck um straight" idea since I realized the difference between gay and straight. People say really ignorant things.

Conservatives are freaking psychopaths, but aren't they still supposed to be protected under the first amendment? I mean compare these comments to things Keith Olbermann would say about conservatives. I'm pretty sure they were beyond offended when he would talk down about them the way he did. But please don't think I don't understand the difference between calling bible thumps Republicans retards and being homophobic. This ass is probably one of the supports of the notion that gay sex leads to bestiality, I'd smack him across the head if I got a chance. It just seems like on both sides of the political spectrum there is a double-standard when it comes to free speech. You can say what you want, as long as you are sensitive to my feelings.

All that made me think of this was the fact that the title was so misleading. Just food for thought, please don't completely try to tear me a new one.

I know it was a crude and totally tasteless attempt at humor, but when dealing with issues with your daughter's sexuality, WHO e-mails a rock DJ for advice??

Helping people invest offshore so they won't have to pay taxes, firing people and letting companies go under, and now this. What else is Bain into?

197. DJ apologizes. Station takes "disciplinary action."

GLAAD reached out to station management asking for Dieter to be suspended for his remarks. Today we received word that disciplinary action has been taken (though management could not be specific as to what) and that a pre-recorded apology aired from Dieter this morning. According to a transcript sent by WMMS, Dieter told listeners:

"I just wanted to say that, I know on the show this past Friday I made some comments that people found….. considered to be offensive. And I just wanted to say, I understand why people are angry. I want to genuinely apologize to anyone who may have been offended by what I said. I regret what I did say. My comments were inappropriate. They were inexcusable, and just downright stupid. And I want to make it clear; there was absolutely no intention to promote physical or sexual violence. And I’m truly; truly sorry by my poor choice of words that led people to believe otherwise. Again, Rover… I just want to apologize for any pain I might have caused. (...) I ask people to find it in their hearts to forgive me. I am sorry for the words that I did say. "

I n addition, WMMS has pledged to run public service announcements about the dangers of parental rejection, and the importance of giving LGBT young people a safe learning environment. Even if no parent would go to the vile extremes suggested by Dieter, the message he telegraphed to the audience was that this parent should not accept that his daughter might be gay or bi.

199. It was another "non-apology apology"

He STILL didn't say "I meant it and I was wrong to mean it". It wasn't a slip of the tongue. It wasn't a poor choice of words. It was an intentional call for a violent assault on an underage female.

Why would he even bother with any "weasel words"at this stage?

200. He did say the remarks were "inappropriate" and "inexcusable".

Contrast that with the non-apology apologies of POS Rush Limbaugh, which always amount to "I am the poor victim of people without a sense of humor."
