Scott Walker misses jobs promise by about 121,000 jobs

Source: Twin Cities/Pioneer Press

Gov. Scott Walker made it only about halfway toward fulfilling his signature 2010 campaign promise — repeated in the 2012 recall — that 250,000 private-sector jobs would be created over four years under his leadership.

New figures released by the Republican's office on Thursday show about 35,700 private-sector jobs were created in Wisconsin in 2014. But taken together with the previous three years, only about 129,000 private sector jobs were added during Walker's term, or just over halfway to what was promised.

Walker, a likely presidential candidate, is building his presumed campaign around his record of achievements as governor. It was clear during his successful re-election bid last year that he would not fulfill the pledge.

The 35,736 private-sector jobs created during 2014 equates to 1.5 percent growth for the year. However, how that compares with other states won't be known until the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics' June 17 report.

He cost the state thousands of those jobs. In 2013, Wisconsin ranked 44th in job growth. Predictions are they will make it down to 49th.

He'd look much better in the job department. He's not a big thinker, unless it comes to plotting his lying, cheating, and stealing.

he has fuzzy math ( 2+2 = 5).
And just imagine if he were president, and it has taken him from his own party apparatus report four years to create only 129,000 / divided by 4 = squat

So to help with those jobs number, let's not forget he cut and gut the education, public workers and anyone else that didn't belong to his criminal enterprise and if compared to his ranking he is 40th and Dayton of Minnesota is 15th.

I love unionized close shop states like Minnesota.

Or maybe they pumped the equivalent of that many minimum wage, part-time jobs financially, into his election runs & recall-fighting war chests!
