PM: We have no better ally than the US
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended criticism of the policies of US President Barack Obamas administration in a video address to Sundays Jerusalem Post Conference in New York.
Netanyahus statement was aired after US Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew was heckled and booed, but taped earlier.

Israel has no better friend in the world than the United States, and the United States has no better friend than Israel, Netanyahu said. I want to thank President Obama, the Congress and the American people for all they have done for Israels security. But even the closest of friends can respectfully disagree about issues of international security.
And of these, none is more important to Israel, to the stability of the Middle East and to the peace of the world, than the threat posed by Irans nuclear program.

(8,200 posts)I would consider them a serious treat to the start of a nuclear war if they thought that they were in threat of being overrun by their neighbors. They never cease stating that Iran is secretly developing a nuclear capability and can not be deterred by an treaty. Yet, Israel apparently believes that it was justified in secretly developing nuclear bombs.
