Former Brewers player Darryl Hamilton found dead

PEARLAND, Texas —Former Milwaukee Brewers player and announcer Darryl Hamilton, 50, died in a murder-suicide Sunday, according to reports from Texas.

KTRK reports that police were called to Hamilton's home in Pearland around 4:45 p.m. Sunday on a report of a disturbance.

Police Lt. Patrick Savage said an initial investigation determined Hamilton was shot several times and that a woman in the home died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. She was identified as Monica Jordan.

Monica Jordan, 44, was also found inside the home suffering from a fatal self-inflicted gunshot wound.
