The 30-year-old owner of Creative Creations, the Omaha event planning-company that allegedly sold millions of dollars in worthless airline vouchers, has been charged with three felony counts of theft.
Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine announced the charges against Patricia Urbanovsky on Thursday morning. Kleine said Urbanovsky bilked employees out of $141,000 for the worthless vouchers.
She faces up to 20 years in prison for each count if she is convicted.
Since March, the Better Business Bureau in Omaha has received more than 1,500 complaints about the firm. Alleged losses associated with those complaints total more than $1.3 million, said Jim Hegarty, the bureaus president.
