Transit strike continues

MCTS, union at odds over pay, safety, health care

MILWAUKEE —Representatives from the Milwaukee County Transit System and the transit union continue to blame one another for the strike and did not hold discussions on Wednesday.

“Who's delaying the service? It's not us. We said, 'Let's go to arbitration.' They said they're not interested,” ATU Local 998 President James Macon said.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned this, this bus strike in Milwaukee is hitting Summerfest pretty hard.
