Its really expensive to fight against government officials in court, even if the Lawyers your group has, work for free.

It could take years even if the group keeps after the criminal. Walker knows that.

Walker-Koch people may even 'file a court case' just so Walker can silence witnesses and use the BS line when questioned by the press as he campaigns....

"sorry I can't comment about a court case"

From what I have read it is an matter of STATE LAW and if that is the case, there is no appeal. If it is an issue of Federal Law, people could file in Federal court and go up the entire federal court system, but only on issue of FEDERAL LAW, not state law.

likely be bias/corruption, since the conservative judges in WI were also funded by club for growth.

SCOTUS has already ruled that a judge must recuse him or herself if there is a conflict of interest, so this is one argument that could be made.

SCOTUS has no jurisdiction over state law issues. No credible lawyer would make a useless appeal.

A majority of the Wisconsin Supreme Court are bought and paid for Walker supporters. This is why it was such a big deal when David "the Madison Strangler" Prosser miraculously "won" his re-election over Kloppenberg when what's her name in Waukesha County miraculously "found" a few thousand votes for Prosser on her laptop after it appeared he had been defeated.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court is as dirty as any court in any banana republic third world country you want to pick. The conservatives all took huge amounts of money from Plaintiffs in this case and still refused to recuse themselves. My home state is a joke. If you want to know a huge reason why Walker keeps getting his way, look no further than the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

From the NYT

Several of the same outside groups that were accused of coordinating with Mr. Walker in the recall elections previously spent millions of dollars backing Justice Prosser, a former Republican state lawmaker, and his conservative colleagues in recent elections, according to an analysis by the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign, a nonpartisan group, though some of the outside groups dispute those findings...

In an interview, Justice Prosser declined to discuss the Walker campaign case, but spoke generally of the factors involved in making a recusal decision, including the timetable of contributions in support of a judge’s campaign.

“The effect of even large contributions can wear off after a reasonable amount of time has passed so long as it doesn’t involve a case that was pending at the time the contribution was made,” Justice Prosser said. “Timing is a very significant factor recognized by all legal experts.” (March 28, 2015)

Government in Wisconsin is broken.

This only sprays deodorizer on the stink ... the stink will eventually win. If Walker was not running for POTUS, it could have been hushed up but if he gets the nomination, some reporter/s would want to uncover what happened and make a career.

And now the judge that got "that help" now helps to cover Walker from criminal charges.

Bottom line in many cases republicans stay in power by elcetion fraud
and dirty judges.

BTW I will never believe that Scott Walker won his recall vote.

"Gov. Scott Walker’s campaign and outside groups accused of illegally coordinating campaign activities were let off the hook today by a four justices of the Wisconsin State Supreme Court. The four justices whose opinion halts an investigation and possible prosecution of Walker’s campaign and allies and orders records to be destroyed were the beneficiaries of at least $10 million in campaign spending by parties named in the investigation."

would be motivation enough NOT to sit this one out next November, when it's time to choose the next President. Even if one's preferred candidate did not happen to survive primary season.

THIS is what can happen if a CON gets back into the White House.

You think for one instant that a president scott walker would appoint anybody like a Sonya Sotomayor or an Elena Kagan to the high bench? THINK ABOUT IT.

BECAUSE we had the two of them in there, we were able to get some recent rulings we could celebrate on the issue of the ACA, marriage equality, and fair housing. If either mccain or romney had won, there'd be no way on God's Green Earth that we'd have had two additional liberal-leaning associate justices on the Supreme Court. No chance in hell.
