Gay Church Will "Burn" in Augusta, GA

Source: Augusta Chronicle

Vandals spray-painted Tuesday morning a Bible passage that condemns homosexual sex on a downtown [Augusta, GA] church whose pastor was part of the first gay couple to receive a marriage license in Richmond County.

“Burn Leviticus 18:22 Lies” was painted across the double front doors of the Metropolitan Community Church of Our Redeemer on 557 Greene St. On the front steps was another passage, Leviticus 18:20, with the words “You’ll Burn.”

People are gay. Churches aren't gay. The actual and appropriate title is,"Entrance of pro-LGBT Metropolitan Community Church of Our Redeemer defaced with graffiti."

there was a tea-party type ranting loudly at the gym that I go to. His rant went on for quite some time. I was close to reporting him because (as it always happens when they don't feel like they are upsetting anyone) he began getting insulting.
It astonishes me that these tea-party types are so up in arms about giving people rights—they almost act like their right to marry is being taken away. It's very nuts and berries.

In 1976, a "gay church" was burned with arson. Dozens of people died. (And the authorities looked away.)

that screech and whine that this ruling will "make" churches have to accept gay people. Yet, when some churches actually do accept gay people, out of their own volition, they attack and terrorize.

I've become something of a recluse. But, I wonder what the reaction would be if people around the country were to make copies of the Chronicle article and put it together with this list, then tape it to the door of the churches in their areas. The caption might be something like
"Please share this with your congregation then pose this question: "How many many churches do you suppose need to be burned?"

Then the internet can monitor it 24/7.

Many eyes make arsonists cry.
