I read her autobiography, called "Confessions of a Prairie Bitch", its probably the best bio I've ever read. She's smart, likeable and very funny. I highly doubt she would ever support Palin or be a republican.

There have been a lot of actors who've played right wing demagogues in roles but were left leaning in real life.
