More racial unrest in St. Louis after police kill black suspect

Source: Reuters

(Reuters) - St. Louis police fatally shot a black teenager they say pointed a gun at them on Wednesday, drawing angry protesters and recalling the racial tensions sparked by the killing of an unarmed African-American teen in nearby Ferguson, Missouri, a year ago.

St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson said the shooting took place as officers were carrying out a search warrant and two young black men ran out the back door of the targeted house.

Officers ordered the pair to stop in the alley behind the house. One suspect pointed a gun at officers who then fired about four times, killing him, Dotson said.

Reuters video showed dozens of protesters blocking a nearby intersection. They were monitored by police backed up by an armored vehicle.

does not stop. It seems to me that it is time for the Justice Department to take over all the police forces in St. Louis like they have in other cities.

But to tell you the truth this is what the hate industry wants - hate radio, hate tv. churches preaching hate, hate, hate, hate.

Listened to Chris Hedges today on Link talking about the revolutions he has reported on and this kind of hate message is one of the most prominent things that lead up to mass killings and violent revolution.

Tis very scary. We are talking political revolution and they are listening to their crazy politicians about a totally different type of revolution.

We need to find some sanity in this world.

except for those needed specifically to do all their work for theme while receiving NO salaries at all.

Only enough workers to work to death, and replace them with new ones.

also talks about building a movement large enough to stop the corporations from destroying what little we have left. Got to be now and we need to be sure it is not a front for the corporations - someone who talks one way - takes their money - and betrays us in the end.

This is the way they have been taking us over since Reagan.

was shot and killed, but also knowing that a 9 year old was killed in a drive by shooting, and never mentioned once today, I have to wonder if only certain black lives matter.

10. I dunno about that but:

from that article and reading this:

A 93-year-old member of the Tuskegee Airmen, a black aviation unit from World War Two, was robbed and carjacked in the neighborhood on Sunday. A woman was also killed in the area this week.

I say the deaths of all black people, whether by cop or not, needs to be addressed. Black lives matter, not just when a cop takes it. ETA: Crimes of any kind against black people need to be just as important, the news of the Tuskegee airman being robbed/carjacked pisses me the hell off!

If there is and it shows the suspect pointing the gun at the officer, well as the saying goes "You play stupid games, win stupid prizes!".

If there isn't, well the protest stands and the police officers need to be investigated.
