ISIS is awful, because they are instituting the kind of system that Europe has since disgarded in relation to those they live with or without, if they don't fit.

Whoever lives in 'their' land will either submit or die by the sword. That concept is not unknown to the West. The sword of Islam while benign as is the meaning of the sword of truth (in words) is very similar to Western beliefs and democracy itself.
