Report: Gunman Who Opened Fire On Train Might Have Ties To Islamic Radicals

Source: ASSOCIATED PRESS

ARRAS, France (AP) — One serves in the Air Force, another recently served in Afghanistan in the National Guard, another is studying physical therapy in California — and all three Americans are being hailed as heroes for tackling and disarming a gunman they happened to encounter on a high-speed train between Amsterdam and Paris.

Air Force serviceman Spencer Stone remained hospitalized Saturday after being stabbed in the attack Friday night as the train traveled through Belgium, though the Pentagon said the injury was not life-threatening. A dual French-American citizen was also wounded as he was hit by chance by a gunshot on the train, which eventually stopped in Arras in northern France, French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said.

Cazeneuve, speaking to reporters in Paris on Saturday, said that the suspect may be a 26-year-old Moroccan flagged by Spanish authorities last year for links to Islamic radical movements, but the identity has not been 100 percent confirmed.

An official linked to Spain's anti-terrorism unit said the suspect lived in Spain until 2014, then moved to France, travelled to Syria, and then returned to France. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to be identified by name.

innocent people this guy wanted to kill.
This asshole only deserves derision and ridicule as he faces the very real prospect of spending the rest of his life in a French prison.

He asked for his gun back. And the guys gave it to him, by slamming it into his face over and over again.
See? Hilarious.

Christianists, fanatical Jews, whatever.

Anyone who boards a train, with multiple weapons intending to kill as many as possible before (possibly) being taken out by security deserves to get the shit kicked out of them.

Most of these Islamists BTW, have about the brainpower of an artichoke, while their "leaders" get rich and fat making money from their "faithful" or "martyrs."

That head guy of ISIS made a big speech, yet what could clearly be seen on his wrist? A Rolex.

angry to boot. "Sleeper cell" Christians, heavily camouflaged as white folk, who can be set off at any time by FOXSIS or RWMEDIASIS..the evidence is everywhere and the FBI has two comprehensive reports confirming all that.

No need to stereotype another religion for your daily dose of fear.

You can purchase your fear locally with homegrown red blooded American Christian terror!

Why, there is even a white Christian leading in polling who wants to put yellow stars on 11million people in America and treat them like cattle and turn the nation into a police state....there is the fear America needs right there. Locally!

boy, a good Christian with white supremacist ties. Just mentally ill, was the white man killer.....brown folk rarely are mentally ill, don't you know.

More white privilege...the killer of 9 black folks with clear ties to Christian supremacist groups...mentally ill, of course. Not a terrorist. The evidence of links to terrorist groups- ignored.

Incompetent brown man who killed no one because of his incompetency, with questionable ties to brown supremacist groups....obviously a highly trained sleeper cell religious terrorist.

See how that works?

So says the judge in the case and ISIS is covering their empire building with religion like all budding and brutal empires have. Just like in the Americas and every other continent.

This character is knocking heads with another empire of long standing in the West. Note the kind of pants the police taking him to court are wearing:

Blue jeans, a sign of the American culture that has spread world wide.

ISIS is awful, because they are instituting the kind of system that Europe has since disgarded in relation to those they live with or without, if they don't fit.

Whoever lives in 'their' land will either submit or die by the sword. That concept is not unknown to the West. The sword of Islam while benign as is the meaning of the sword of truth (in words) is very similar to Western beliefs and democracy itself. But it has a more sinister meaning, as our history shows in phrases such as 'put to the sword' or to death, etc.

This outlier was taken in by stochastic terrorist techniques, just as our right wing is in the USA. ISIS is clearly RW. Those who are on the defensive, as always, are the LW, in favor of equal treatment and due process however described by Western nations.

Human rights advocates and environmentalists are usually targeted as they oppose the destruction of the biosphere and human lives for profit and empire. French civil society is a bigger target. Creating chaos allows the destruction of institutions designed to protect civil society.

In America, that is achieved by the Nordquist philosophy and shadowy groups that are sometimes religious and are orchestrated by business, but they are ready to pick up the pieces as recources are left unguarded by 'starving the beast' and by appealing to the survival instinct we all have.

Some submit to survive, but few have a chance to as they are expendable, worthless to empire and just tools for the elite. Yes, ISIS has an elite just like any empire.

The religious groups will be there to take over and to foment more chaos as they always have to create a new social order.

And it's going to happen here, as it is the plan of the Koch brothers, GOP, Libertarians and churches if those who don't see the danger don't get out to vote. Or if we have a 9/11 event such as the GOP has tried to stage indirectly through stochastic terrorism and budget cuts. Along with a stupified R/LW who don't know what they're doing.

Fascism is taking hold state by state so a catastrophic event may not be needed to get what they are going for. They are more and more in the face of people than they ever have been and most Americans are none the wiser as it is being done. And The Idiocracy takes no prisoners, ever.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/france/11818048/French-train-attack-Gunman-known-to-three-European-intelligence-services.html

He went to Syria to fight, and was flagged as an Islamic militant, not least because of his own online statements:
Spanish intelligence was the first to identify him as a radical Islamist. They tipped off their counterparts in Paris when Qahzzani moved to France; the French, in turn, alerted the Belgians.

A Facebook page appearing in his name contained postings in Arabic describing music as the work of Satan, and justifying Isil's burning to death of Moaz al-Kasasbeh, the Jordanian pilot who was shot down while flying coalition air raids over Syria. Postings on the page claimed that such punishments had been sanctioned by early followers of Islam.

The French gov't is therefore loath to arrest those who have followed the siren song of Jihad to fight in Syria and returned. There are an estimated 5,000 like him running around that country.
