A fire damaged Planned Parenthood in Pullman early Friday morning.
PULLMAN, Wash. -

Update: Pullman fire investigator Rich Dragoo said the cause of Friday morning's fire at Planned Parenthood in Pullman was arson.

Dragoo, along with a joint fire investigative team made up of fire and police personnel, examined the building at 1521 SE King Dr. for most of the day following the fire that was discovered shortly after 3:30 a.m. Dragoo said after a couple of hours looking at the damage, he requested help from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to help with the investigation. Three agents were dispatched to Pullman from Spokane.

Fire officials said there was extensive fire, smoke and heat damage to the front portion of the building, which opened for business in September, 2012. Pullman public works director, Kevin Gardes, inspected the building Friday afternoon and posted it as structurally unsafe because of some of the damaged beams in the building.

where will they go now for exams? StD treatment, pap smears? It is not like other clinics can absorb a large influx of patients on short notice. No, women will go without health care because somebody decided that their fucking religion is more important than women.

Pullman is a college town, not all that conservative. I'm surprised it happened there.

can seem like 200 miles if you don't have a car. Clinics can not absorb the sudden influx of patients in the short term. Have you ever tried to get an emergency same day apt with your DR? Women are hurt by this. Waiting a few weeks or more to see a Dr for time sensitive treatment hurts. Esp. when they have already waited weeks for their apt that is now cancelled because someone thinks their religious views are more important than a woman's right to see a DR.

I was thinking of it more in relation to a place like Texas where it may be 500 miles. It seems like it will mostly college age women as Pullman is where WSU is.

in this country. 'Our" government refuses to to proscute white christian terrorists in this country as terrorists, THEY ALWAYS get a PASS on the terrorism charge. Why because they are White and Christian. Those who commit terrorism against women and that is who these christian terrorists are targeting, are hero's in the anti-women, anti-choice movement.

Of course this will be blamed a lone wolf like it always is and the White Christian Terrorists will get a pass once again.

It would be refreshing if one or all of the Democratic Candidates would announce that they are going to start prosecuting the Anti-Women Christian Terrorists as Terrorists if they are elected. It is not like the White Christian Terrorists are going to vote for any of the Democratic Candidates anyhow.
