Rick Perry Drops Out of 2016 Presidential Race

Source: ABC News

The former Texas governor told the Eagle Forum on Friday afternoon that he is suspending his presidential campaign.

“We have a tremendous field – the best in a generation – so I step aside knowing our party is in good hands, and as long as we listen to the grassroots, the cause of conservatism will be too.”

"That is why today I am suspending my campaign for the presidency of the United States," he said, adding that he has "no regrets" about his run.

P.S. I recently read a book about psychopathy by self-styled psychopath M.E. English. She says that psychopaths have a kind of blindness to the downside of every choice, and that's why they screw up their own lives and the lives of other people.

As some day it may happen that a victim must be found,
I've got a little list — I've got a little list
Of society offenders who might well be underground,
And who never would be missed — who never would be missed!
There's the pestilential nuisances who write for autographs —
All people who have flabby hands and irritating laughs —
All children who are up in dates, and floor you with 'em flat —
All persons who in shaking hands, shake hands with you like that —
And all third persons who on spoiling tête-á-têtes insist —
They'd none of 'em be missed — they'd none of 'em be missed!

(Chorus
He's got 'em on the list — he's got 'em on the list;
And they'll none of 'em be missed — they'll none of 'em be missed.

I see his judgment is as intact as it ever was. Just consider their front-runner:

Everyone who remembers the theme song from the Micky Mouse Club sing along:

Who campaigns like he cares
Not for you or me?

Who spouts off, has no clue
On foreign po-li-cy?
D-O-N

Mickey Mouse (Donald Trump!)

A helicopter just to get him
High, high, high, high!

Come along and sing his song
Toss poor folks in the street
D-O-N
A-L-D
T-R-U-M-P!

Go and trash all Mexico,
Repeat it in a Tweet!
D-O-N

High, high, high, high!
