Migrants Continue to Stream Into Croatia

Migrants continued to pour into Croatia on Saturday after about 10,000 arrived a day earlier, marking a daily record high, according to Croatian police.
The country has reopened its border crossings with Serbia, Croatian police said, after a week of a tit-for-tat dispute between the neighbors over how to handle migrant traffic.
As of Saturday afternoon, another 2,000 migrants entered Croatia.
Croatia keeps bringing migrants using trains and buses to its border with Hungary, a step in their journey to more affluent countries in Northern Europe.
About 67,000 migrants had entered Croatia as of Saturday afternoon during the past 10 days when the influx began due to Hungary’s decision to fence off its border with Serbia.
