Paul Ryan: Sorry Guys, It's Still No

Source: Talking Points Memo

By Katherine Krueger: Published October 9, 2015, 11:36 AM EDT

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) told NBC News through a spokesperson Friday that despite Republicans calling for him to enter the race for Speaker of the House, he's still not interested.

Alex Moe, NBC News..from Alex..
... "Chairman Ryan appreciates the support he's getting from his colleagues but is still not running for Speaker."

The news comes after Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) and other party leaders had said they were campaigning for the House Ways and Means Committee chair, and that Ryan would take the weekend to consider entering the race to succeed John Boehner.

He wants to privatize social security. He's also brilliant at doing the budget but not helpful to the poor or working class.

I have stopped believing the Beltway media. They have become stenographers, nothing else, and the sad thing is that, right or wrong, they still get to play pundits on TV.

Note: this is not directed to TPM, but to "reporters" like Robert Costa, Jake Sherman, Maggie Hammersham, ...

I don't watch any of the day to day analysis. It's mostly stupid people, saying stupid things, and not really having any idea whether what they're saying is true or not. They are paid to talk, and that's what they do.

in 2018. I think he wants to be President also, and we've never elected a President straight from the House. He has to win a state wide office to be presidential, unless he gets picked again to be Vice President and his running mate wins.

food bank in mockery of the actual work done by volunteers? How about his phony economic plans that would hurt the elderly and poor to provide tax cuts for the well off?

Paul Ryan is a shithead and a monster. Just because he is bright enough to avoid being a spineless speaker-puppet for the tea-baggers does not make him noble in any way.
