Clinton Rebounds in Democratic Race, Gaining Against Sanders and Biden Alike (POLL)

Source: abc

Please note that**this is a new ABC/Wash Post poll (different from the WSJ-nbc poll also posted in LBN today). I would add abc to the headline but rules say no.

Hillary Clinton has followed a successful debate performance by rebounding in the contest for the Democratic presidential nomination in a new ABC News/Washington Post poll, regaining ground against Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden alike.

With anticipation surrounding Biden at a peak, Clinton has 54 percent support in interviews Thursday through Sunday, compared with Sanders’ 23 percent and Biden’s 16 percent. That’s 12 percentage points better for Clinton than her position a month ago, bringing her halfway back to her level of support in the spring and summer, before her September stumble.

See PDF with will results here.

If you take into account Biden has dropped 5, Sanders 1 and Clinton gained 12 points from September. This poll would seem to support the consensus that she erased doubts with her debate performance. I think she is also benefiting from public weariness of the e-mail "scandal."

Despite all of the howling about "purity tests" and "loyalty oaths," I hope that Dems of all kinds can come together to keep these GOP maniacs out of the Whitehouse.

summer. "Just wait till the debates". Well, we've had one, and Jim Webb seems to be the first casualty. Others seem to have peaked, while others seem to have stalled out completely. Hillary is on the rise, and when Uncle Joe is not in the mix, his support shifts to her. I think we all know how this plays out, we just have to wait for others to reach acceptance.
