Trump, O'Malley file for NH Primary

CONCORD - Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump and Democratic hopeful Martin O'Malley became the first big-name candidates to file for the New Hampshire primary Wednesday.

Trump pointed to his large crowds in the Granite State, and those showing up at the State House for his arrival, as evidence of growing support.

O'Malley, saying his campaign had "just turned the corner," said he would offer forceful contrasts with his rivals, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. The former Maryland governor portrayed himself as a new generation leader. He made reference to "old names or polarizing figures."

The New Hampshire primary candidate filing period opened Wednesday at 8 a.m. It runs to 5 p.m. on Nov. 20.

Saw it yesterday, and posted elsewhere.

Martin O'Malley was the first Democrat and the first presidential candidate to file.

for the New Hampshire primary!
