Paris Attackers Weren’t Refugees, According to Top EU Official

Source: U.S. Uncut

At least one top EU official is claiming every one of the radicals identified so far in Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris are European Union nationals, as serious doubts have been cast on the authenticity of a Syrian passport discovered in proximity to one of the attackers killed at the scene.

“Let me underline—the profile of the terrorists so far identified tells us this is an internal threat. It is all EU citizens so far. This can change with the hours, but so far it is quite clear it is an issue of internal domestic security,” High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini stated, following a gathering of EU foreign ministers.

So far, it appears most of the perpetrators have been tied to France and Belgium, though the investigation is not yet concluded. One Egyptian passport was also found. However, Egypt’s ambassador to France, Ihab Badawi, has claimed that passport belongs to an innocent victim rather than one of the attackers.

The discovery of the Syrian passport instilled a fearful backlash across both Europe and the U.S., prompting several officials to insist on suspending their acceptance of Syrian refugees in their regions. Several states in the U.S. have since attempted to nix funding for the refugee settlement program, though other sources are reporting U.S. governors do not actually hold the power to refuse the refugees.

the passport is something of a red herring, there's - for very obvious reasons - a booming market in Syrian passports in Turkey.

the big thing is not the passport, the big thing is that (as it so far appears) the fingerprints of one of the suicide bombers match the fingerprints of a person claiming to be a refugee processed by the Greek police/immigration on the Island of Leeros in, iirc, October of this year.

so, it appears that most of the attackers - 8, we think - were French or Belgian nationals, some of whom are believed to have been to Syria but who have returned. one, or possibly more, however appear to be not French or Belgian nationals, but people who have exited Syria through Turkey and then onto Europe via Greece under the cover of genuine refugees.

pretending its a falacy is not going to help matters.

Mix migration flows have meant that migratory traffic is never "just" refugees or asylum seekers, there are "economic" migrants, those who pay to be smuggled, victims of sex trafficking, traffickers, smugglers other criminals mixed in. Refugee camps and refugee flows have long been exploited by those engaging in criminal activity. The fact that this is a "terrorist" attack has drawn attention to the risk but it's happened for decades and most of the victims are refugees themselves or those living in non-Western host countries. No one cares until the victims come from countries in the West.

We need to return the Statue of Liberty to France. We don't deserve it anymore.

For a good part of our history, we haven't allowed just "anyone" in for good reason - something along the lines of "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." Illness and crime have always been a deterrent to entrance in the U.S., for starters.

Once, more Americans are satisfied with the vetting program, I think things will quiet down substantially. We have all seen pictures of largely majority male refugees in Europe, and it has people on edge here.

Most of the attackers were French or Belgian. Thus we cannot trust any French or Belgians. Simple logic. For the simple-minded.
