Three suspects arrested in Amanda Blackburn rape, murder investigation

Source: Local Fox affiliate

INDIANAPOLIS (November 23, 2015) – Fox 59 News has learned that three suspects have been arrested in relation to the rape and murder of Amanda Blackburn investigation. Sources say they will also be charged in three more burglaries, including a rape at the Westlake Apartments.

snip..

Detectives pieced together an account of the men entering the Blackburn home, which was unlocked, and confronting Amanda Blackburn, the pregnant mother of a toddler who was awaiting the return of his husband Davey, a pastor, from an early morning workout.

While two of the suspects left with Blackburn’s ATM card to retrieve money, a source told Fox 59 News, Taylor reportedly raped and killed Amanda. ATM receipts were found in the vehicle and detectives also gathered evidence linking the suspects to the use of Blackburn’s credit card.

Remember the Sandy Hook truthers who were convinced the shootings were staged because one of the father's did not show sufficient grief.

If they have to take the 'live' person to the ATM because the use requires an eye scan there is more of a deterrent to the actual crime and/or the person may be able to escape death.

I too thought the husband was guilty. Still it's possibly a murder for hire, but if it is, they'll spill the beans about that quick enough.

And if it was a murder for hire, why would they steal her ATM card and go retrieve cash?

You're stretching.

I don't care where you're going, or how long you plan to be gone.

The thing about Indy is that there are some comparatively safe areas next to some really bad ones. This neighborhood is like that. There have been a few really horrendous home invasions here over the past couple of years in areas that people think should be "safe." Nowhere is "safe" anymore, unless you live in a fortress.

ON EDIT:

Court docs attached. Interesting reading, especially concerning the door and the fact that the husband was on his cell for nearly an hour after leaving the gym, some of which time he was in his own driveway.

I've never understood it myself since I grew up in the city and it literally takes a second to lock a door. Nearly every break in where I live is due to the resident leaving their door unlocked.

After watching this guy on my local news and reading his comments for about a week and a half now.

He seems to see his wife's murder as a way to bring people to "Christ." A pure, proselytizing moment. When he announced the funeral arrangements, he specifically said people should bring their unsaved friends. Since then, the comments have been that God will provide a silver lining, etc., etc., etc.

I know people grieve in different ways -- been there myself. But I contrast that to other people who have gone through something like this, and the man seems almost giddy when talking about this at times. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. And I'm not the first to say this.

Color me still skeptical right now. There have been far too many cases where people have been railroaded to solve a high-profile case, and too many "grieving" relatives who turned out to be not so innocent after all.

agenda and something like this would only further it. Plus, it just seem like too much of a coincidence that they would happen to strike at the exact time he was away from the home and left the door unlocked. He also just seems to show no emotion at all for the loss of his wife and unborn child. Maybe I'm just prejudiced against him because I find religious funny types creepy and think that underneath it all there something dark and sinister.

A woman is brutally raped and murdered, a DUer posts about 3 African American youth suspects who appear to be highly correlated to the crime, and nearly all the responses from other DUers appear to be desperately avoiding a conversation about the suspects and instead are about how they assume the white pastor husband is in on it (with zero evidence supporting it except his "demeanor&quot .

If we're trying to stay out of the "looney liberal" bin, we're failing.
