Donald Trump Joins Insane Conspiracy Theorist Alex Jones, Who Calls Him The George Washington Of Tod
Source: Right Wing Watch
It is really difficult to know where to begin when cataloging all of the truly insane statements and conspiracy theories levied by radio host Alex Jones, who has talked about everything from how 9/11 and Oklahoma City were false flag operations to how juice turns kids gay and space lizards are running the world.
So it isnt really surprising that Donald Trump appeared on Jones show today, although we were disappointed that they didnt delve into a discussion about their shared concerns about vaccines.
Instead, Jones dedicated the interview to showering Trump with praise, at one point even describing him as a modern-day George Washington and boasting about the candidates relationships with the countrys top military and intelligence leaders.
Jones told Trump that America may not exist in a few years if he doesnt win the presidential election, a point with which Trump readily agreed.

Do the Republicans really want to be saddled with this?

(2,188 posts)Jones is a paleo-con, opposes the Police State, and worships Edward Snowden, which would put him closest with Rand Paul.

Seems here with Alex Jones, he's appealing to those people who vote for the fringe candidates. You know, the guys running on the American Independent Party, Freedom Party, Constitution Party, etc. Those oddballs who follow the Libertarian and Green candidates at the bottom of the ballot and pick up a few hundred votes yet make up the vast majority of FEC Form 2 filers.

(3,864 posts)i didn't think Trump wd get the nomination, or be elected if he did - but I think this puts the end to any speculation of him as president.
I suspect the general public does not know what a bizarre lunatic Jones is - but hopefully they find out.

(14,093 posts)Jones has claimed that the family members of victims are secretly "crisis actors" who are lying as part of a tinfoil plot of the gub'mint to take yer guns away
For Trump to go on this show and receive no backlash from the media or the GOP is a slap in the face to everyone who lost their lives in those tragedies.

(9,350 posts)There are times when I think Trump is trying to find a way to lose the Republican Presidential nomination. At times it seems he is trying to do things to piss off voters and make people think he is to crazy/stupid to be President. Trump did not realize it would be this hard for him to bomb with Republican voters. He keeps trying to do more and more over the top things in the hope that Republican voters will stop supporting him.

(4,585 posts)He is always trying to engage me in some cockamamie theory, and it makes me sad. I am very worried about the electorate out there. I now have 4 family members that have gone off the rails, and we used to be a tight group, and I used to think that my group was relatively intelligent and immune to the sloppy reasoning that would propel someone like Trump to top of the GOP contenders.
Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Parallel universes. These notions come to mind when I hear those 4 talk now.
