AUSTIN Late next week, former Texas Democratic gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis will campaign for Hillary Clinton in Iowa.
According to Clintons campaign, Davis is expected to attend seven events where she will discuss Clintons track-record on womens health issues. Earlier this year, Davis endorsed Clinton at an event in Austin.
Hillary has demonstrated for many years her exemplary ability to lead in the face of real challenges, Davis said at the time. We need someone like that...................

(37,748 posts)No doubt, you need to tell yourself that; otherwise you'd be compelled to analyze her support in a rational and objective manner... and a good, juicy bias falls often falls apart if doing as much.

(3,051 posts)Sucked up tons and tons of money nationally that could have been used in winnable elections, ran a mediocre-to-bad campaign, got clobbered (or perhaps "thumped" in the general election, and then rode off into the sunset with a pile of money and a book deal, appearing only to throw out red meat to us true believers in return for a reliable stream of money from suckers.
So, no, I stick by her being the Ying to Palin's Yang.

(94,641 posts)Amazing! I made the argument that she (and Barbara Buono) wasn't able to win, and was castigated here for not standing up for "real" progressive candidates, no matter what it cost.
(and FWIW - DGA -didn't- give her "tons and tons" of money; I know because I asked).
