December 15, 2015 - Women Back Clinton Over Sanders 2-1 In Iowa Dem Caucus, Quinnipiac University Poll Finds; Economy Remains Top Issue For Iowa Democrats

With an almost 2-1 lead among women, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leads Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont 51 - 40 percent among Iowa likely Democratic Caucus participants, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today. Former Maryland Gov. dynamic. In the last cycle, the Women Vote was taken as ho-hum thing. With all the negative Women Legislation passed and purposed by the Federal and State Governments, you knew the day was coming when the largest segment of society would stand up and kick some ass and take names, with out kowtowing to their male partners or succumb to male pressure. This is Historic, not since the Suffrage Movement, have we seen these positive numbers. Whether Sanders or Clinton, now the thing is,will our Party go stupid and do male only preference.

If it is women voters showing this inclination, is it possible the party is going stupid doing female only preference.

Something that has been revealed over and over again in videos where women on the street are asked about the candidates or their policies, and they say it's time a woman won. The women who say that are also unable to answer pretty simple questions about campaign positions, so I'm thinking this does not necessarily indicate an educated and informed base...just women who are tired of men always ruling.

Where 50% of "liberal" Democratic men voted for Scott Brown, and if it wasn't for the 60% of Democratic female voters who wanted to support the first female senator from their state, we wouldn't have Sen. Elizabeth Warren?

http://www.boston.com/politicalintelligence/2012/11/07/election-propels-elizabeth-warren-senate-and-scott-brown-toward-next-political-venture/gNGv4D1kXjMxUxMBIWCOIM/story.html

In that equation, wasn't it the liberal Democratic men supporting Scott Brown who were voting for someone because he was a man?

Or is it only identity politics when women do it?

That's right, the women are smarter.

17. If women voted for Warren just because she is a woman

That isn't very smart. If they did so because she has the right policies and goals, then who cares if she is a woman or not. Vote for her.

If half of the liberal dem men voted for Scott Brown, they aren't very liberal are they? Maybe they were voting for him because he has two pretty daughters.

I can't say that women are smarter than men when it comes to voting. But I will admit that educated voters tend to be smarter than those who vote because they are supposed to, but don't really know what is going on.

And if uneducated and uninformed women voted for Warren just because she's a woman and they won...well, we just got lucky. I'd rather not base our future on luck.

so many of the women we meet canvassing here in Ohio say they do not know Bernie and those that say they do also tell us they support him. The same is true about African Americans I have talked to. Hillary clinging to her gender as a primary reason to vote for her will sell to less and less women as they become aware that Bernie is more family friendly and just better for everyone. Frankly I am a little surprised at Bernie's support among white men but if it is as high as stated then it reveals how much Bernie's chances continue to improve. Go Bernie.
