"This is not an act of terrorism"?

Really? I'm semi-terrified, and I'm not even there. Or maybe not all there.

It doesn't seem likely this would be happening if there weren't far too many guns the "good guys" have bought in order to feel more secure about their lives.

More guns is the obvious solution.

7. Just a couple of "young people" shooting it out, but still terrifying, especially for parents...

Shoppers fled in a panic, some running into stores, with some dropping shopping bags, purses and other items. Lester Callahan, an employee at Gordman's, said shoppers came running into his store in a panic, and some hid under garment racks. Callahan said the store offered some shoppers refuge in the employee break room, and the store received direction from the mall to close and evacuate.

"It was a chaotic scene with lots of people fleeing on their own and businesses shutting their doors and gates," DeSpain said...

Cain said Madison police arrived armed with rifles about 5-10 minutes after the shooting. Police began locking down the mall store by store, and later released groups of people by the same method.

Outside the mall, police officers stood by the doors to prevent anyone from trying to get back inside. Several shopping parties were separated, including children from their parents. A woman from the district attorney's office was outside the mall assisting people in trying to reunite with those still locked inside.

10. What about the people stuck outside the shops once the owners shut & lock their doors?

The children and parents separated?

Unbelievable experience for these human beings.

I'll bet so many of them won't be going to stores next year for Christmas gifts, but will chose do get things online, instead.

This gun nuttery could eventually change our landscape, shopping malls closing, people not going anywhere they don't absolutely have to go, and the gun industry will never be chastised, they'll just keep on clicking as if nothing ever happened. Happy as fully armed clams.

Thanks for the link.
