Trump To Crowd: 'Knock The Crap Out Of' Tomato Throwers, I'll Cover Legal Fees

Source: tpm

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump told the crowd gathered at his campaign rally on Monday to "knock the crap" out of anybody who threw a tomato at him.

Trump said the event's security staff told him there was a risk people would throw the juicy fruit. "So if you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of them," Trump said at his rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

"I will pay for the legal fees. I promise," he added. "They won’t be so much because the courts agree with us too."

A protestor was arrested last week for throwing tomatoes at Trump at a different Iowa event.

If anyone throws a tomato and gets the "hell knocked out of them", Trump can now be named a party to any ensuing civil suit because he's not only encouraged the behavior but publicly agreed to finance it. Considering the depth of his pockets and his high level of public visibility, you can bet that the lawyers will be lining up to offer pro-bono services to anyone beaten up by his crowds.

That was an incredibly boneheaded comment for him to make.

Trump has made many promises over the years but when it comes time to pay up he's vanished, in denial or in Bankruptcy leaving creditors SOL!

A dumb person wouldn't be able to manipulate the media and people as well as he has done so. I'm not saying this guy is an Einstein but he's not riding the short bus either.

Which is why you think he's an idiot. He is for saying those things but he knows damn well that saying them will piss off folks like us, gain a massive following of low-IQ voters and have the media following his ever move.

You think something who wasn't that smart would be able to create a media shitstorm the way Trump has done so? But just because the guy is smart doesn't mean he's qualified to do anything. Because like you said he's also spouting off racist, sexist, homophobic comments. Comments, I might add, he might not necessarily believe in personally but knows it will gain more low-IQ followers.

That's literally true by the way, and the professional wrestling philosophy of Kayfabe (always be fake - to the point of living it all the way) in my belief explains more about this person's behavior than any other factor.

Hitler, to take one of many examples, was also not "nuts" and not a kayfabe player, but one who understood the principles of kayfabe even before the term had been coined.
