Ahead of Omaha rally, 'Dump Trump' graffiti appears atop grain elevators flanking I-80

Graffiti reading "Dump Trump" was visible Thursday atop the grain elevators near 35th Street and Interstate 80.

Ron Safarik, co-owner of the property, said he and the other owner, Richard Brock, have contacted the Omaha Graffiti Task Force and made a police report.

Safarik said he doesn't know when vandals painted the graffiti, but he became aware of it Thursday afternoon.

"This is an act of vandalism ... that is neither sponsored, condoned or encouraged by myself or the co-owner of my property," Safarik said. "We will be removing that as resources and time permit. Based upon the physical location, it's not just something we can walk up and clean up in a hurry."
