WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Police on Friday arrested a federal officer suspected in a two-day shooting rampage in the Washington suburbs that killed his wife and two apparent strangers and revived memories of the "Beltway sniper" attacks of 2002.

Three others were wounded in the three separate attacks.

Eulalio Sevilla Tordil, 62, a police officer with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Protective Service, was arrested in a doughnut shop near the site of the second of Friday's two shootings, police said.

He had been suspected of killing his wife and shooting a bystander on Thursday in Prince George's County, Maryland.

Apparently he was in that area the whole time. They just reported on ABC7 that he sat in the Boston Market eating lunch for at least an hour. As soon as he came out of the Boston Market, his car was already surrounded by unmarked cop cars. When he tried driving off, they then rammed him.

Someone setup a gofundme to help them.

The High Point High School community in Beltsville, Maryland, is gathering together to help fund the education for Grace and Nikki Tordil. Grace and Nikki’s mother, a Chemistry teacher at Parkdale High School, was shot and killed in the school parking lot on May 5, 2016. Mrs. Tordil was her daughters’ primary financial support system.

Grace and Nikki, both seniors at High Point High School, are outstanding students and are set to attend the University of Maryland Baltimore County and the University of Maryland College Park in fall. They need our help to attain their educational goals.
