Turkey removes more than 2,700 judges following coup attempt

Turkish authorities on Saturday removed 2,745 judges from duty following an attempted coup by a military faction overnight, broadcaster NTV reported, citing a decision by the High Council of Judges and Prosectors (HSYK).

Five members of HSYK, Turkey's highest judiciary board, were also removed, state-run Anadolu Agency reported.

The judges he is sacking were not part of the coup, but now is a good time to get rid of all opposition to the Democratically Elected Leader.

He's removing "a parallel structure" in the judiciary, military and Turkish society in general.

In plain language, he is now conducting a purge of all his political opponents.

the coup or unless Erdoğan is using it purely to solidify his power and I doubt that many judges supported the coup.

It was a false flag coup orchestrated by Erdogan.

Convenient no? He had a list of thousands of enemies ready to go at a moment's notice.
