Trump endorses Paul Ryan

Source: CNN

Washington (CNN)Donald Trump endorsed House Speaker Paul Ryan on Friday, moving to mend an intra-party rift that has put the Republican presidential nominee at odds with its highest-ranking elected official.
Trump's endorsement of Ryan came at a rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

"We will have disagreements, but we will disagree as friends and never stop working together toward victory. And very importantly, toward real change," Trump said, reading off notes. "So in our shared mission, to make America great again, I support and endorse our speaker of the House, Paul Ryan."
. . .
"And while I'm at it, I hold in the highest esteem Sen. John McCain for his service to our country in uniform and in public office, and I fully support and endorse his re-election. I also fully support and endorse Sen. Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire," Trump added.

They call him Juan McCain because they think he is completely soft on immigration.

They call the Speaker Lyin' Ryan Rino because they think that Ryan "gave {Obama} everything he asked for".

From the FReak show:

“CANTORIZE” Ryan the treacherous, RINO, GOPE, Judas, snake in the grass, along with McCainiac and Kelly, stab conservatives in the back and give Imam Obomination every thing he wants, do-nothing Ayotte!

Ryan is running the same triangulation game plan that the GOPe used to marginalize the TEA Party. Carpet bombing by MSM, frontal attacks by Dems and fragging from the GOP. Ignore him and he will have a free hand to back stab Trump all the way until November. Make no mistake: Paul Ryan is campaigning for Hillary Rotten Criminal.

How long will that last and we go back to Trump going off-script and offending everybody and retaliating against everyone who speaks ill of him?

It's hard for me to believe he can be kept in control with such a short leash for any significant amount of time.

Now he is collecting for his general election, reportedly 80 million in July, with an average donation of 61 bucks.

Trump wants his 55 mil back. Unfortunately for The Donald, the contributions are in the coffers of the GOP. He has to play ball if he wants his "self funding loan" back. If he plays this right, he will actually see a profit by billing the campaign for expenses such as his private jet, office space in his buildings for staff, adviser salaries for members of his family, hotel and resort fees, renting space for campaign events. He makes up the bills and conflates them to whatever he wants.

As for his millions of small dollar donors, well, fuck'em.

And after this is all over, he can make millions hawking his newest book and lecture series on how corrupt the political system is.

I view this as indicating the Orange Reality TV star has been talked to by the GOP Establishment about behaving Presidential. However, a barbarian cannot behave civilized for long. Trump riding the GOP pony into the ground is the best possible outcome. If he drops out, or the RNC replaces him, it raises the GOP's chances for the House and Senate.

Whatever the position tRump has or had, wait a while and he'll have the opposite position.

Abortion
Minimum wage
Trade deals
Immigration
Fiscal policy
Russians in Crimea
POWs
Hillary's competence
Brexit

There is one thing that tRump is constant about though. His self-esteem.

The freaks already have a 250+ post thread (after a late Friday start and partway into the night).

The very first post is very negative:

I think we have been shafted again.

Looks like Trump has done a 180 and is now main stream republican.

I and my wife will vote for him but that's it, no more money, no more work, no more anything but one vote each on November 8, 2016.

I am still not voting for Bruce Poliquin!

He stood up and fought the establishment republicans.
He won the primaries because he stood apart from the lifers.
He is now supporting the people he fought against.

Depressing.

What he just did was a “Reagan Selects GHW Bush”. In other words, he did what he was told to do.

IMO it’s not appropriate to endorse one republican over the other. But what he did was worse. He endorsed the “problem”.

Many of those who voted for him are becoming very disappointed and some are so disillusioned they’ll stay home on election day. At the very least it will kill any momentum he had.

And McCain and the rest will continue to bash him.

I just can’t allow myself to get too excited about all of this. Because I can’t make myself believe in the system. It’s way too corrupt. But I can always rationalize and say he’s doing this because he knows he’ll need them once he’s president.

I would like to be able to look at the internet for just one full day and not have to see anything about Donald Trump.
