Trump: If RNC cuts me off, I'll stop funding them

Source: MSN/USA Today

Donald Trump isn’t worried about a report that the Republican National Committee is considering moving resources away from his campaign and focusing on down-ballot candidates instead. If they do, he said, he’ll just cut them off in return.

* * *

“And I mean, if it is true, that’s OK too because all I have to do is stop funding the Republican Party. I’m the one raising the money for them,” Trump said. “In fact, right now I’m in Orlando. I’m going to a fundraiser for the Republican Party. If they want to do that, they can save me a lot of time and a lot of energy.”

Trump was also asked about a Politico report that there was a letter signed by more than 70 high-profile Republicans urging Reince Priebus, the chairman of the RNC, to stop funding Trump and shift money to other races.

“Well, there’s no truth. I’m the one that’s funding, I’m the one that’s raising the money and other people are getting to use the money that I raised,” Trump said. “I’m putting up money from my own campaign, but I’m raising a lot of money for the Republican party. Sometimes somebody will say, 'Well, we’re not going to support Trump.' They’re not going to support because they aren’t the people that I want.”

Donny's election loss will be yuge! It will be the greatest loss! You won't believe how badly he'll lose! The republican party will cease to be competitive anymore.

And then Trump really would have made America great again!

I hope Donny becomes a perennial candidate and challenges President Hillary in 2020 too.

Mrs Clinton has used the term quite liberally in both 2008 and 2016. Lately, she's been using more "we" statements. Someone must have been clued in with her speech writers on that one.... I think that was one of the reasons she lost to Obama. People like to hear "we" over "I" when talking about America and what should happen or occur. They want to feel included, even though they are probably the very last thing any politician is ever thinking about. Just imagine what the world would look like if people were thought of first... I'll just go back to dreaming of unicorns and sparkly things... While true reality continues to bite me in the ass!

Every day they are "on air", they do a Loser Donald segment that highlights some ignorant, loser move he's made. It's quite well done. And calling him a loser would just piss him off to no end of the phrasing caught on within Twitter world.... What a wonderful day it would be to see trending on Twitter "Loser Donald"... Lol. The meme's would be great!

Isn't this the line Trump used in the Primaries?

Maybe the real problem here is that the "real" Republican party finds itself promoting only anti-American policies.

As "well-behaved Republicans" maybe the other 17+ candidates facing Trump in the primaries could only mouth words that NO ONE could possibly believe. That is, when they weren't promoting snake-oil miracle medical cures (Mike Huckabee), nonsensical yet destructive economic theories (Rand Paul), Christian theocracy (too many to name), or other anti-American anti-choice anti-freedom anti-humane policies.

If the GOP had a workable platform, they would have presented it BEFORE Trump became their leading candidate. The GOP does NOT have a platform that works for Americans. Isn't that obvious? Check in with America, you so-called political analysts.
