Source: New York Times
NORRISTOWN, Pa. The attorney general of Pennsylvania, Kathleen G. Kane, announced Tuesday that she was resigning, a day after a jury convicted her of leaking sealed grand jury material to a news reporter.
I have been honored to serve the people of Pennsylvania, and I wish them health and safety in all their days, Ms. Kane said in a statement.
A spokesman for Ms. Kane said her resignation would be effective by the end of the day on Wednesday.
On Monday, a jury found Ms. Kane, 50, guilty of nine criminal charges, including perjury and criminal conspiracy, convicting her of leaking grand jury information, and then lying about it, in an effort to discredit a political rival.

But where I left off when I was looking at it was that I was left with a feeling that what was happening to her smelled. Maybe I got sucked in. Maybe not.
I'll see if I can find the time to revisit. Something about this case bothered me.
