In fact, he's still alive today and, after multiple surgeries and long-term rehabilitation, is capable of dressing, feeding, showering, and shaving without assistance, though he still resides at the medical facility. The attack left him completely blind, though. Poor guy was already homeless and then had this happen to him...

That poor man has been through a nightmare worse than anything anyone is likely to ever have.

I hope there are people who will be looking after him, so he is not even more lost in a very brutal world.

He's remarkably self-sufficient given his circumstances, but it's all to the good that he's in a place where he can be properly cared for when the need arises. Apparently he's learned to play guitar since the attack.

And not surprising that a lot of people assumed he was dead after the severity of the attack. It's miraculous that he survived 18 minutes during the attack, and even more so that he's recovered as much as he has. Shows a hell of a lot of strength of character, IMO. I think most people, myself included, would give up.

What is surprising is that they don't behave erratically much more often.

No, I am not asking for a friend. I simply have no familiarity with bath salts, other than a general feeling that a) they aren't for baths, and b) what they are for, I don't need.
