Clinton campaign manager calls Trump a Kremlin puppet
Source: Politico
The campaign manager for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, Robby Mook, faced tough questions on Sunday about the Clinton Foundations decision to stop taking corporate and foreign donations if Clinton wins the White House.
Mooks response: Dodge the questions and go on offense, accusing Republican rival Donald Trump of being a Kremlin puppet.
On ABCs This Week With George Stephanopoulos, the host pressed Mook on why it was OK for the Clinton Foundation to accept corporate and foreign donations when she was secretary of state but not if she becomes president.
Mook provided no clear answer and instead raised questions about Trumps own financial dealings.

(51,697 posts)I love how Mook pointed out that the media did not give a shit about the existence of the Bush Foundation run by Poppy Bush when Dubya took office.
What "tough question" did Mook not answer? Politico is full of crap on that headline.
And as far as calling Trump a Kremlin puppet, that is not accurate reporting either. Mook said Trump may be a puppet of Putin, judging by an increasingly alarming series of actions by Trump, which Mook listed in that very interview, most notably:
1. Trump is financially tied to Russian oligarchs for debt financing -- and his businesses are $650 million in debt--yet he refuses to disclose his financial ties or his taxes.
2. Trump parrots Putin in his remarks in bashing NATO and changing the GOP platform to delete support of Ukraine as it is being slowly swallowed by Putin.
3. The man Trump brought to his first classified national security briefing last week with him is on the payroll of Putin's propaganda arm, RT, and was sitting just two seats away from Putin at it's tenth anniversary gala.
