Michele Bachmann: I'm advising Trump on foreign policy
Source: The Hill
ea Party firebrand Michele Bachmann says she is advising Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on foreign policy.
The former Minnesota congresswoman attended a fundraiser in the state for Trump on Saturday, where she revealed to the press that she has his ear on foreign policy.
He also recognizes there is a threat around the world, not just here in Minnesota, of radical Islam, she said, according to MPR News. I wish our President Obama also understood the threat of radical Islam and took it seriously.

http://www.sfgate.com/politics/article/Trump-Taco-Bowl-tweet-Paul-Manafort-9171970.php
Here's how it went down, according to the news site: The Trump gang was supposedly having a group lunch together on Cinco de Mayo, with Trump chowing down on a taco bowl. A family member suggested tweeting out a photo of Trump and his taco bowl, because, why not. It's #CincoDeMayo.
Manafort somehow became the voice of reason and, according to the Huffington Post, "politely suggested that this might be seen as condescending and cautioned against it."
The resulting controversy of the tweet everything from the phrase, "I love Hispanics!" to the fact that taco salads was actually invented in Texas was scrutinized by the public. Much to The Donald's apparent delight.
"The people who were offended were people we wanted to offend," Trump was reported as later saying.

It's just a matter of time before his campaign implodes and he moves on to his next ego trip.
Meanwhile, his sheeple will direct their white, hot rage at various targets (possibly including the POTUS, minorities, immigrants, and... most of the rest of us), our nation tries to rebuild diplomatic ties, and we move beyond this nightmarish episode in USA politics.

(523 posts)I bet a lot of people "advise" Trump. I once worked in the White House mail room. Thousands of letters every day from people, some of whom were barely capable of scrawling a coherent sentence, offering the President their advice, suggestions, prophecies, even their commands. The number of letters that actually moved on to any Presidential staffers - less than one-tenth of one percent (somewhat more were passed along to the Secret Service or FBI). But I suppose every one of those people felt that their investment of a 48¢ stamp entitled them to call themselves "advisers to the President".
