Trump biographer drops a bombshell on CNN — and exposes his cocaine-dealing crony

Eric W. Dolan
27 Aug 2016 at 22:27 ET

Donald Trump biographer David Cay Johnston Saturday on CNN said that the Republican presidential candidate once protected a convicted felon who was charged with cocaine trafficking.

“Donald got his personal helicopter and the one for his casinos from a convicted felon who turned out to be a major drug trafficker, and instead of cutting ties with this guy, he kept him on, he rented him an apartment under very unusual circumstances as I described in the book,” Johnston told CNN host Michael Smerconish. “He wrote a letter pleading for mercy for him, saying he was a standup guy. The guy got 18 months while the people who actually delivered the drugs for him got 20 years. And, by the way, the case came before at one point Judge Maryanne Trump Barry — Donald’s older sister.”

Johnston was referring to Joseph Weichselbaum, who was indicted for drug trafficking in 1985.

Johnston said the media should investigate Hillary Clinton’s private email server, but he complained that virtually no one had called attention to Trump’s “lifelong business dealings with Russian mobsters, con artists, violent felons, swindlers, and this big time cocaine trafficker.”

They point to a bunch of weird behavioral issues that are for them very telling signs -- the way he gets very wound up in sudden bursts, the way he is overly energized and incoherent at his rallies, and his constant, loud sniffing and snorting and obvious sinus irritation. He seems to often be miked in a way to avoid the noise, as when he isn't it is definitely noticeable.

My humble opinion of course on these matters -- but I laughed out loud the first time I heard him he claim he had never done any drugs ever. I thought that there is no way this moron made it through the 80s without taking some hearty sniffs of the old white stuff.

He definitely seems to be on something now to me (and I don't mean that sarcastically). With that insane-looking doctor of his who the hell knows what happy pills he takes. His incoherent speaking at rallies (when he isn't tied to the teleprompter), slurring of words (mainly during rallies but also during at least one of the debates), and his weird, highly erratic, overly emotional responses to the audiences are often signs of drug use.

And as you can see, I use my real name on DU. I have posted in the past on DU and other dem/left websites that I know he is a big-time user for all the reasons you point out. And because when I was young I had a friend, now deceased, who had access to the best of the 70's cocaine. Trump reminds me of one guy who had a big liking to a particular batch my friend called "Peruvian Pink". And that's my best educated guess as to Trump's problem.

Remember how Rushbo used to scream and spit before he went to rehab? It just seems like the same deal.

Of course, if he gets a prescription for those happy pills (from that nutso doctor that wrote the letter saying how he was the bestest, most healthy-wonderful-swell guy ever), then that's not "doing drugs." That's "taking medication."

And now we are gonna start painting trump as a cokehead?
Whats the difference? I think we're going down the wrong road of hypocrisy here. Is everyone forgetting the claims made about the Clintons in the 90s? Because that shit is sure to come back up if THIS line gets any traction. Sure, its perfectly fine to question his dealings with that ex-con. But thats where it should stay focused.
BTW, I made it through the 80s without ever trying ANY drugs; its not unheard of.

Of course, it IS quite entertaining listening to trump at 1/2 speed:

was something he talked about, saying that he went clean and sober after he "found Jesus" and when his twin daughters were born (or something like that anyway). I know there were many who thought he was still on the sauce in the White House. Bush obviously he had a history of alcohol abuse and alcohol-related issues, which was detailed in a number of places (including the infamous DUI).

So it makes me lmfao when Trump, who attended and no doubt hosted a gazillion Wolf of Wall Street-esque parties in the 80s, 90s, and 00s, and who still lives the high life (though at seventy he isn't out partying every night), declares that he's never touched any drug "EVA" or taken a drink of alcohol. This even came up during the primaries when he was asked about marijuana legalization; he gave an inane answer, blathering on about his older brother dying from alcohol (and I think drug) abuse. Then Trump triumphantly declared that he'd never touched a drink or snorted a line or anything else. I just can't take that claim seriously. He is exactly the kind of hypocritical asshole who would declare that he's never done any drug ever and yet state emphatically and repeatedly that any "Mexican drug dealers' (they are all Mexican in Trump's world) will be immediately deported. He is an ass.

Rubio had some protective issues with a close relative/in-law.

Dubya had some memory problems of how long he had not used drugs.
He had to keep revising how long ago he could have gotten a security clearance.
Something like 7, 17 and 25 years prior. (not sure of exact #s of years)
