Police: Man arrested for making threat at Sandy Hook Elementary School

NEWTOWN, Conn. (WTNH) Police in Newtown, Connecticut have arrested a man who they say called in a threat to Sandy Hook Elementary School last month.
According to police, on August 15, a man called the main office at Sandy Hook Elementary School and asked when the first day of school was. When told the first day of school was August 29, the man processed to make a threat against the school for that day.
Police began to track down the phone number and found it to be from a nearby town. The investigation eventually identified the caller as 28-year-old Pierre Beauvil of Stamford.

STAMFORD A 25-year-old man was charged with criminal trespassing and breach of peace after illegally entering two city schools shortly after 9:30 a.m. and forcing officials to place both schools into lockdown.
Pierre Beauvil, a former Westhill High School student, was spotted by a custodian at Roxbury Elementary shortly after 9:30 a.m. carrying a black backpack and wearing a camouflage jacket, according to Stamford police Lt. Diedrich Hohn.
