Mark Cuban calls out Trump son for false image of Florida rally

Source: MSN/The Hill

Donald Trump's son, Eric Trump, appeared to share a false photo of Trump's Florida rally this weekend, slamming Hillary Clinton for calling half of his dad's supporters "deplorables."

"Look at the #BasketofDeplorables in Pensacola Florida last night! What a horrible statement," Eric Trump tweeted Saturday with an image of a packed arena during a Trump speech.

Mark Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks and a Clinton supporter, corrected Trump.

"I'm pretty sure that's our arena in Dallas Eric."

Of course, the Trump campaign does not need to apologize or acknowledge its lie, and it will quickly blow over.

"Clinton came under fire on Friday and eventually apologized for saying half of Trump's supporters could be categorized as "basket of deplorables" because of their bigoted views.

"Last night I was 'grossly generalistic,' and that's never a good idea. I regret saying 'half' - that was wrong," Clinton said in a statement Saturday."

That's right. She was grossly generalistic to have said half. She should have said ALL!

But it works for them because most of their supporters are too.

Especially this election.

Deplorable!

They know they've got skimpy attendance at their rallies-- skimpy attendance = low support

So they try to make it look like the crowds are huge-- why? So people who are unsure of who to vote for will see the "large crowds" and decide to vote for dumdum??

To save face (a little late for that) during the campaign?

They're aware that their candidate is tanking-- this is an odd way of dealing with it.

It just strikes me that falsifying their disastrous situation is lousy campaign strategy and won't help one iota
