There were five phantom donations in the files of Donald Trump’s foundation. Here’s what we know

Source: Washington Post

By David A. Fahrenthold,

September 12, 2016,

Yet again, devastating new investigations reveal that the self-declared “philanthropist” Donald Trump is in fact nothing of the sort. The Washington Post’s inquiry into the practices of the Trump Foundation reveal that for years, Donald Trump has been accepting the charitable donations of others and taking the credit for it, while spending the money on outrageous personal expenses and even personally profiting from their generosity.

The Charles Evans Foundation in New Jersey, for instance, donated $150,000 to the Trump Foundation, which then donated the money to the Palm Beach Police Foundation in 2010. Trump was awarded the Palm Tree award for “his” generosity, which he accepted in at an opulent party held at his own Mar-a-Lago mansion in Florida – and made money off of, since the police department paid to rent the room. It’s “unclear” how much Trump made off that particular event, but in 2014, tax returns show the police department paid over $276,463 to rent the place for another event, which in all likelihood came from the taxpayers.

Trump’s last gift to his own charity foundation was in 2008 – all the rest of the money comes from other sources, which Trump then uses to give to other charities, creating the impression that he is a generous man. Sometimes, however, Trump has straight-up used donation money to buy himself personal gifts, the most flagrant of which was reportedly a $20,000 six-foot painting of himself. The Washington Post contacted over 250 charities in attempts to track down Trump’s “donations” – but were largely unsuccessful. Many of the charities that Trump told the IRS he had donated to had no idea that he had promised them money.

Today's story was published about an hour and 15 minutes ago..(12:38 ET) ..I sure hope this gets national coverage..but I doubt it
.Reminds me...of the drip, drip, drip of Woodard and Bernstein as the truth came out about Watergate.
Little by little, and then it became a flood of info..somewhere from within. I wonder???

There is so much dirt on Trump it's easy for the truth to get buried in it somewhere.

Even if this clown somehow got elected there are so many scandals it's hard to see how he wouldn't eventually be impeached.

But one never knows...

I mean, you have to have a permit for absolutely everything and if you were putting in say, a tree for instance - they'd have 2 cops on it, lights flashing the whole deal. With a name like Palm Beach, there are a LOT of trees being put in at any given time.

When Mar a Largo has events the police are evident everywhere and are needed since there is really only one way to get on and off the island convenient to the mainland considering where it is located

Now the EMT/Fire Department have some of the best facilities and personnel in the country and being as there are a lot of old people living here, they get used frequently.

Grateful people have donated literally millions to them over the years.

A job at either one of these public entities is a job to die for and you are treated very well.

The fact that Trump charged and is making money off the Police is, hmmmm... Well it is Trump isn't it?

He takes a donation in the name of his foundation, then distributes it to protect he and his cronies causes.

It all stinks of bribery and criminal money laundering.

LOCK HIM UP. LOCK THEM ALL UP!
