Trump: Lester Holt Asked Me Some 'Unfair' And 'Hostile' Questions

Source: Talking Points Memo

Donald Trump on Tuesday morning lamented that NBC's Lester Holt, the moderator of Monday night's debate, and asked him unfair questions and declined to ask Hillary Clinton about her emails or the Benghazi attack.

"I had some hostile questions, but that was okay," Trump said on "Fox and Friends" Tuesday morning when asked how he thought the debate went. And when asked if Holt asked Clinton the same number of "hostile" questions, Trump listed a few topics he thinks Holt should have asked Clinton to address, including her email server, which she did address during the debate.

"He didn't ask her about the emails at all. He didn't ask her about her scandals. He didn't ask her about the Benghazi deal that she destroyed," Trump said. "He didn't ask her about a lot of things she should have been asked about. There's no question about it. He didn't ask about her foundation."

Trump said that Holt "didn't do a bad job," but complained that he left Clinton's "little goodies out" and pressed Trump on his tax returns.

"Do what I want!"

In Trump's mind, only softball questions are permitted.

It's a tough job for a tough person, not a whiner and a cry baby.

Suspend for a moment that Donald doesn't really have corporate success if you look at the facts...

In corporations, leaders have control. I know there's a lot of collaborative decision making going on throughout the ranks but once you're at the top, you decide and it's over.

In politics, leaders have to lead without control.

Donald doesn't know how to navigate a world where he doesn't have control and it's making him crazy.

Remember, a narcissist's most important task is to control the narrative.

...in spite of being a republican, Lester Holt doesn't live in the echo chamber.

Those are echo chamber questions.

He'll be much happier with Chris Wallace when they get to Vegas in October. And I'm sure HRC will be 110% prepared for all the crap to roll down from Fox News' Bullshit Mountain.

Why didn't he get in some of those punches at Hillary, if the moderator wouldn't? She certainly got some in at him. It's because he's not a good debater and was too occupied defending himself from her. She was on the offensive most of the time.

Someone asked a Conservative voter if she would still be voting for Trump, and she said she would. "I'm a Conservative and I am voting for the Conservative Party, even if there is a Jackass at the head of it!"

Everyone knows that unfair and hostile questions never happen during the course of the presidency. Come January 22nd, it's a 4 year vacation. I mean, Obama's had it easy. No one has ever asked him unfair or hostile questions like "Where were you born?" or "is the long form of your birth certificate a forgery?"
