Trump to Release Video Statement After Crude Comments About Women Surface

Source: NBC News

Inside Trump Tower Friday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump recorded a video message and planned to release it after he was caught by an unflattering and damaging video clip from 11 years ago.

Trump will use this scripted video message to further address his controversial lewd comments about women recorded on a hot mic.

Sources told NBC News that various advisers and senior campaign officials argued to the candidate that Trump should go beyond his initial written statement in an effort to more clearly apologize for his words in advance of Sunday's debate.

It's probably taking so long to release because they had to do take after take after take to get something that seems just a little bit believable.

6. The big FLIP - and the 25th amendment -

....snip....

The first step of The Flip must begin very soon — ideally, this week or next. At a joint press conference, Pence and Trump should with fanfare announce that, if they win in November, Pence will be in charge, thanks to the rules laid down by the Constitution’s 25th Amendment, which was ratified in 1967 after the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

At the press conference, Trump would solemnly pledge that on Inauguration Day, January 20, he will, only minutes after taking his oath of office, step aside by invoking the presidential disability provisions of Section Three of the Amendment — much as he might step aside if he were undergoing a scheduled coronary bypass that day. He will give notice on Inauguration Day to the president pro tempore of the Senate and the speaker of the house that he is "unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office."

My point - I wouldn't put it past the Ryan, McConnell and co releasing this video...their plan could have been made long ago - we could see pence ryan come the day after inauguration - of course, only if the creep wins, which he won't -

and then next week a new video comes out.

Which is almost 100% guaranteed to happen, according to Lawrence O'Donnell.

Then what?

Such a fucking narcissist, can't offer a genuine apology and instead vows to attempt dragging Bill and Hillary through the mud with him at the next debate. I have no doubt Hillary is well prepared to deal with this man-child and make him sorry he even brought it up.

Couldn't resist trying to make it about the Clintons.

'I'm sorry; I'll be better. But Bill Clinton... and Hillary...'
