State board follows recommended suspension for vet who killed cat with arrow

Over the opposition of animal welfare groups that closely followed the case, a Brenham veterinarian who killed a cat with a bow and arrow has received a one-year full suspension, followed by four years of working in her field on a probationary basis.

The Texas State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners made the decision Tuesday after a three-hour morning hearing in Austin, according to a board spokeswoman.

The suspension begins as soon as the order is signed, which will take place today, but Lindsey has 30 days to appeal the decision, spokeswoman Loris Jones said.

Lindsey's attorney, Brian Bishop, said in an emailed statement that she would appeal the decision.

Cruelty to animals is so... debased. There is literally nothing weaker than a person who hurts a creature less powerful than herself.

Just give up now, Lindsey. I suspect that a vet who posted a picture of herself with the CAT that she SHOT through its HEAD is not going to be very successful in her chosen profession.

She probably got into the field so she could euthanize pets, evil bitch!

She was arrested for driving under the influence in Houston earlier this year.

As usual, this punishment is too light.

But everyone I know has vowed NEVER to spend a dime at any business who hires her. I do cat rescue in Texas, and I have several vets that I absolutely love and have great respect for. None of those would hire anyone like her. But if by some strange occurrence in the universe one of them did, I'd take my business elsewhere.

I suggest about 10,000,000 hours of community service for this turd, 8 hours per day, 6 days per week, 52 weeks per year. I'm ashamed to be of the same species. While we're at it sterilize that turd. No sense chancing passing anything on in her genes.

When someone asked "Do you think they will take your license away?" She replied "Why? I'm awesome!".

Spoiled little brat just got smacked.
