Residents receive "scary" election-related fliers from pro-Trump group

Source: San Diego Reader

Over the weekend, Imperial Beach residents received in their mailboxes unsigned election fliers described as "disturbing" and "creepy."

The double-sided fliers, which accompanied official Republican campaign material, ask people to join "Rebel Alliances" and contain debunked conspiracy theories about Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. The symbol of the Rebel Alliance from the Star Wars films is featured on the flier.
...
Rebel Alliances does not identify their members in their social media presence and did not reply to questions about their membership, but one local resident associated with the group, former Missouri state politician and Tea Party activist John Loudon, appears to be a participant in creating the fliers. Loudon posted a photo on his Twitter account on November 4th showing people preparing the fliers along with Republican campaign literature for presidential candidate Donald Trump and congressional candidate Juan Hidalgo Jr.
...
Pinky Blackwell, who also received the flier, described them as "a couple pages of creepy vigilante join-our-cult crap" that was "telling us how to vote and how to be a certain 'type of person,'" she said via social media. "Took me a second to figure out what kind of underlying anger and hate this was coming from."

I don't think I could look myself in the mirror with any respect at all with the actions of that deceitful, suppressive and corrupt party of angry, hate filled leaders. Shame on them all. Deplorable is too kind a word. Shameful and lacking any scruples.

Of Dr. Gina Loudon who has appeared on CNN several times in the last few weeks as a Trump surrogate. She is a complete nut bag.

They certainly do not have the rights to use the Rebel Alliance emblems from Star Wars.

This is a horrible abuse of their intellectual property that threatens to damage the entire Star Wars brand by association.
Lucasfilms should (and probably will) sue them into the ground.
