Former Goldman Sachs executive and Breitbart.com executive Steve Bannons appointment as a top advisor to President-elect Donald Trump ignited a firestorm of controversy due to Bannons alleged alignments with white supremacists, anti-Semites and neo-Nazi white nationalists.

In an interview [link:http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/steve-bannon-trump-tower-interview-trumps-strategist-plots-new-political-movement-948747published Friday] in The Hollywood Reporter, Bannon denied that he is a racist and said that his views are based in economics, not in racial politics, and that he loves being hated by liberals. Darkness is good, Bannon told the Reporters Micahel Wolff. Dick Cheney. Darth Vader. Satan. Thats power.

Im not a white nationalist, Im a nationalist. Im an economic nationalist, he told Wolff, who described Bannon as dressing like a grad student. The globalists gutted the American working class and created a middle class in Asia. The issue now is about Americans looking to not get f*cked over.

Bannon said that the administration will push a trillion-dollar infrastructure plan and rebuild everything. Ship yards, iron works, get them all jacked up.

The Most Revealing Quotes From Steve Bannon's Hollywood Reporter Profile

-snip-

“Like (Andrew) Jackson’s populism, we’re going to build an entirely new political movement,” he said. “It’s everything related to jobs. The conservatives are going to go crazy. I’m the guy pushing a trillion-dollar infrastructure plan. With negative interest rates throughout the world, it’s the greatest opportunity to rebuild everything. Ship yards, iron works, get them all jacked up. We’re just going to throw it up against the wall and see if it sticks. It will be as exciting as the 1930s, greater than the Reagan revolution — conservatives, plus populists, in an economic nationalist movement.”

“I am Thomas Cromwell in the court of the Tudors,” the article concludes with Bannon saying, comparing himself to Henry VIII’s chief minister and a prime driver of the English Reformation.

Left unsaid: Cromwell ended up charged with treason and heresy, with his head displayed on a spike on London Bridge.

Yeah he's going to "get them all jacked up" alright but it won't be the infrastructure that gets the treatment.

... in "Libertarian scholars" from the USA to set it up.

It failed miserably. Well, except for the rich on a comparative basis since the gap between the rich and poor increased dramatically as more people literally died in the streets.

He says "The globalists gutted the American working calls ..." like his man Trump hasn't shipped jobs to China and other places.

I know Trump is known for being unpredictable and prone to doing his own thing, but I get the feeling Bannon knows exactly how to manipulate Trump's strings.

racist and extremist to the core, but talking like those who flock to Breitbart's white nationalist message would be like watching their sitcoms and chortling dutifully with the laugh track like them.

Even if nothing else gave it away, his intense bigotry and hostility toward liberals would give his true self away. Bigots, paradoxically enough, are not discriminating in their bigotry. Inside is always a very wide brush.

And holds up Satan as a positive role model.

Can't wait for Pat Robinson, James Dobson and that asshole son of Falwell to explain why an admirer of Satan in the white house is good if he has an R by his name!

They're probably planning to take America into the 4th Reich, but this time they'll start with the Muslims instead of the Jews.
