(1,397 posts)Because they are Republicans.
Republicans are the most evil, slimy muthahfukahs ever to inhabit the Earth. There is NOT ONE who is worth saving.
They think there's nothing wrong with this.
I hate Republicans.

(1,135 posts)and it's high time for us progressives to start pushing back AGGRESSIVELY and with physical force if necessary! I'm sick and tired of the spineless, whimpy "leadership" of the Democratic Party and other liberal groups, who continuously capitulate and cower when challenged by the Repukes and their media machine. We either make a stand now and fight these fuckers or become extinct.

(15,224 posts)I've always hoped that it wouldn't come to this. I lived through the 60's. But I think the time is coming again where we must stand and be heard. I, too, am sick of anything "wimpy" coming from the Democrats. They are going to have to learn to fight on the same terms and in the same way that Republicans fight. You cannot bring a knife to a gun fight and expect to walk away unharmed.

(6,344 posts)American republicans have gotten so extreme, they are down right, radical extremists. What makes this different from other radical extremist coups, their weapons are political power.
Wonder how many of them are christian-religious-right-wing-radical extremists?
I would guess most.
This was the same twisted legislature that passed the bathroom law, at night, within 12 hours of notifying lawmakers.
It is good for the health of NC to have a Dem Gov. Congrats on that!
Go Protestors!!!

(6,344 posts)It was a shock for me to learn permits must be obtained to protest, in my city and in Washington DC. I wonder if it is like that everywhere now? No permit, they arrest. I don't know what happened in this case though.
