Lansing President-elect Donald Trump is considering appointing CNBC business commentator Larry Kudlow to chair the White House Council of Economic Advisers, a Trump adviser said Thursday.
Conservative economist Stephen Moore, who worked with Kudlow to write Trumps tax plans, said during a lunchtime speech Thursday to the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerces economic club that Kudlow would be appointed to the influential post within the next 48 hours.
And who better than Larry? Hes one of the great economists in this country, said Moore, who has been advising Trump on tax policy in the transition.
Less than an hour after The Detroit News first reported Moores comments, the chief economist at the Heritage Foundation think tank backtracked and said he misspoke. It isnt a done deal and I jumped the gun, Moore said in an email to The News.

(65,334 posts). . . that Kudlow is great. Neither of them know anything about anything and have been wrong about every prediction they've ever made.
Mostly because they're not really economists, they don't build models with stats, and they just spout out opinion based upon their pre-established biases.
Neither of them are capable of even analyzing the data that clearly shows that their economic philosophies have been tried and they have failed.

(1,016 posts)Kansas is a prime example of their policies. Tax cuts on the rich and results have been dismal. Now they have to borrow $60 million and will be borrowing for the next years to come.
